Repotting Water Lilies: Seven easy steps to save your lilies!

If you find that your lilies have withered into the water, don't give up hope! You can salvage them through the following steps:

  1. Using a pot without holes (or if you don't have one, just place newspaper to cover the holes at the bottom)
  2. fill the pot halfway with clay soil
  3. take out the water lilies from the pond
  4. use a knife to separate each lily's plant so you can multiply your plants
  5. place one plant into the pot
  6. place 3 fertilizer tablets around the plant and then cover with clay soil (be sure to pack teh soil in really well)
  7. and finally, place pebbles/gravel to cover soil so it stays in the pot.

Remember, water plants are heavy eaters and should be fed every month.
