| Repotting Water Lilies: Seven easy steps to save your lilies!
If you find that your lilies have withered into the water, don't give up hope! You can salvage them through the following steps:
- Using a pot without holes (or if you don't have one, just place newspaper to cover the holes at the bottom)
- fill the pot halfway with clay soil
- take out the water lilies from the pond
- use a knife to separate each lily's plant so you can multiply your plants
- place one plant into the pot
- place 3 fertilizer tablets around the plant and then cover with clay soil (be sure to pack teh soil in really well)
- and finally, place pebbles/gravel to cover soil so it stays in the pot.
Remember, water plants are heavy eaters and should be fed every month.
