Discover Your Roots
A walk through this garden reveals a lesson in Chamorro history.
Jose Chargualaf proudly showcases the history of his ancestors by incorporating over a dozen different ancient Chamorro artifacts on his front lawn. From latte/haligi (pillars for homes) to lusong (used to pound/grind food) and the suruhanu's (healer) medicine maker – this simple southern garden can be found in Malojloj – the village that Chargualaf describes as "heaven" since it's the next stop after God's country (Talofofo).
